I’m starting the 24 x 30 I’ve been wanting to paint for ages. (It took longer than I thought it would to get the sketch ready - but it’s a big painting.) 
It’s my favourite kind of Autumn day with the dark clouds a gray backdrop to the wonderful yellows, oranges and muted greens of the trees.

Can’t wait to see this one Mandy. I love the colours you are describing - that deep, dark grey sky, with the sun making the trees and leaves glow against it. Looking forward to watch it develop. Steph

So far it’s going really well, I’ve done a bit more work on it and should be posting a new image tonight.
