Sunrise WIP4

Sunrise – 16 x 16 – Acrylic on Wood – Reserved for Mayberry Fine Art

The trees stand quietly, the morning sun throwing reds and yellows across the snowy landscape. I think this one could have been bigger – maybe I’ll try a similar theme on a bigger panel later. Right now I’m thinking of the wonderful colours of Fall – slate, pumpkin, ochre and eggplant – yum. :)

Me too! I think this just might be my favourite Mandy. I love the vibrant colours working with the pastel hues and the dramatic effect of the trees pulls it together. One word : Stunning.

I can hear the breeze as I go sledding by this spot, 6 dogs and me! :)

Thanks Dawn! That’s my one of the things I really love about painting this way. :) At the end I can see how it all fits and becomes a whole.

You’re very brave Kathleen! I just go out, grab some photos and impressions and get back to the warmth as quick as I can – lol! (That’s why I don’t have as many winter paintings as I should.) :)
