Sunrise – 16 x 16 – Acrylic on Wood – Reserved for Mayberry Fine Art
The trees stand quietly, the morning sun throwing reds and yellows across the snowy landscape. I think this one could have been bigger – maybe I’ll try a similar theme on a bigger panel later. Right now I’m thinking of the wonderful colours of Fall – slate, pumpkin, ochre and eggplant – yum.

Boy do I like this one!
Thanks Kelly!
Me too! I think this just might be my favourite Mandy. I love the vibrant colours working with the pastel hues and the dramatic effect of the trees pulls it together. One word : Stunning.
Dear Mandy,
It’s such a joy to see how your work progress and, – as always – I just love every piece of art you create – this piece is another of my favourites of your art..You have a wonderful eye for colours – keep up the good work my dear…
Best wishes

Thanks Sue and Carolisa
I really like how the colours work on this one too – I’m going to have to use this combination again!
Wonderful! I love how it’s all come together.
I can hear the breeze as I go sledding by this spot, 6 dogs and me!
Thanks Dawn! That’s my one of the things I really love about painting this way.
At the end I can see how it all fits and becomes a whole.
You’re very brave Kathleen! I just go out, grab some photos and impressions and get back to the warmth as quick as I can – lol! (That’s why I don’t have as many winter paintings as I should.)
