  2. this painting is really coming along nicely. i am so amazed how you are working it from bottom to top and keeping your colors so organized, especially with the size. i wish you would share more of your processes. this is going to be quite breathtaking to stand in front of.

    Hi Kathleen. I don’t know if I could a) share a painting with someone – lol and b) manipulate tiny little beads – I love beads but my fingers cramp up just looking at them! :)

    Thanks Christine! I do have a colour sketch that I refer to, but the painting takes on a life of it’s own once I get going. Because of that I try to start at an area of importance and then let it radiate out from there. I tend to work in a section that I think I can finish in a session and just let it go where it wants to. I have the sketch open on my computer behind me and I only look if I get stuck. :)
