In a Pine Forest

In a Pine Forest – 16 x 20 – Acrylic on Wood – Reserved for Mayberry Fine Art

There it’s done! It has the atmosphere I remember when I was in that pine forest, so I’m quite pleased. Sort of quite and deep but with a huge range of strong colours, oranges and reds where the sun gets through and purples, blues and greens in the shadows.

Thanks Steph! I’ve noticed the one I’m working on is always my favourite – lol – I’m so inconstant. :)

Thanks Andrea! I think the palette worked really well – I can’t wait to do another with these colours! (Although I’ve noticed it never turns out quite the same – evne though I log my colours – lol).

Really gorgeous work! This might be my absolute favorite of all the images of yours that I’ve seen. Congratulations! Will you be selling it as a print on etsy, or is it an exclusive?

Thanks E.R.! I’m very happy with this one too. :) I will definitely be selling prints of it, but I haven’t even finished the digital file for the sunflower painting yet! Right now I’m just painting, painting, painting and letting all that other stuff backlog. But I know I will have to deal with it soon. :) I think I will do a newsletter or blog post once I have the prints ready for the sunflowers, the forest and the lake of bays.
