I’ve started on the last section of this painting – the background. I think it’s a little to warm and too light, so I’m going to do some more work on it next session. I do like the way the shapes have come about though. 
I’m also starting to think about a new title for it. Possibly ‘Passing Storm’ but I’m not sure yet.

“Passing Storm” will be a perfect title for this painting Mandy – the sky has just the right color for that so I don’t think you have to change anything there. It’s a pleasure to see how your work slowly grows in front of our eyes – thanks for sharing your progress with us….

I love the lighter background on top and the deep rich colors below! It’s very reminiscent of North Dakota skies. I vote to keep it as it is! It’s absolutely beautiful!

I think it works for me now – it’s a little stronger against the sky.
The colors in tree and sky were great enough, but the earth shapes and colors just blow this one out of the park. You’re a genius!
