I’m starting the 24 x 30 I’ve been wanting to paint for ages. (It took longer than I thought it would to get the sketch ready – but it’s a big painting.) 
It’s my favourite kind of Autumn day with the dark clouds a gray backdrop to the wonderful yellows, oranges and muted greens of the trees.
Can’t wait to see this one Mandy. I love the colours you are describing – that deep, dark grey sky, with the sun making the trees and leaves glow against it. Looking forward to watch it develop. Steph
